We are excited to announce our collaboration with fellow EU-funded projects. We have recently initiated partnerships with teams working on the APPRAISE, PREVENT PCP, SAFE-CITIES and POP-ART projects.

Our collaboration is driven by the recognition of universal benefits stemming from working together on European security-focused projects. By joining forces, we aim to strengthen our efforts to enhance soft target protection, improve security in Europe, and safeguard public spaces through innovative technology and collaborative frameworks.

Projects Highlights

APPRAISE will develop and validate a state-of-the-art framework for soft target protection with a particular focus on active, audited, and well-defined information and intelligence exchange among private and public sector security practitioners to enable an effective collaboration, at the information and the operational levels.

PREVENT PCP focuses on augmenting the security in public transport and public areas in the vicinity through innovative procurement of technology solutions that will allow timely automatic detection of potentially dangerous unattended items, identification and tracking of perpetrators, and advanced crisis management system.

The SAFE-CITIES project aims to help to protect public spaces by providing a security and vulnerability assessment framework supported by an interactive platform enabling the simulation of complex scenarios. It will take into account the behaviour of the crowd and various types of attacks in any space in a realistic 3D virtual environment. The mentioned assessment leads to recommendations of actions for current and future-planned spaces to be adjusted so that the risks identified are effectively mitigated.

POP-ART’s main objective is to improve the security of EU citizens against threats and attacks in public spaces and mass gatherings. To achieve this, it will offer technological tools that provide a coordinated and effective action for the prevention/deterrence/mitigation of threats and attacks in these situations and scenarios.
